Stephanie Willes Bio:

Bio from Stephanie: Always athletic, lifting weights and playing softball, volleyball and involved in AZ highschool Rodeo Assc competing in Rodeos in Team roping, barrel racing and pole bending. After having 3 children, the first in 2003 second in 2004 and third in 2006 and giving up my body for a long period of time I was ready to make a change. Being a stay at home mom for 4 years and being skinny but not really as fit as I wanted. I talked to some trainers at my local gym and started working as a fitness instructor while studying for my personal trainer exam. I became a certified personal trainer in May of 2008. At this same time a friend of mine was training for figure and well I fell in love with the dieting and training of a competitor. I was learning the ropes of how to build muscle and decided to go to the USA's in 2009 to watch another friend compete. I said to myself I can do this, I can make my body look the way I want it too. Then I met my soon to be husband at the time he was my coach and gave me the tools I needed for the most important thing....my diet! Without him this grand journey may not be going down this very road!!! In Novemember of 2009 I competed in my first show the Las Vegas Classic were I came in 5th. I was hooked for sure and the next week talked to my coach/husband and set a date for another show. I went to the West Coast Classic in El Monte California in June 2010 placing 3rd in figure class C qualifying me for the USA's! July 2010 I am a competitor in my first National show, looking back just one year ago I was sitting in the audience, what an adrenaline rush!!!! It was an amazing experience and although I didnt place I plan on making my name in this industry, one step at a time!!
